As an interior designer and someone who loves the outdoors, I’ve always taken pride in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces—especially in my backyard. Naturally, that includes lots of stylish cushions and pillows. But keeping them looking great has always been a challenge.

Like many of you, I found it frustrating to deal with the weather. Traditional cushion covers were bulky, inconvenient, and difficult to take on and off. I’d always joke, “Do you see how many cushions I have? There’s no way I can bring them all in every time it rains!”

Of course, the rain always seemed to come the night before a big barbecue—or the morning of. I was constantly embarrassed having guests sit on soaked cushions. That’s when I knew there had to be a better way.

Last year, I came up with an idea for a permanent cushion cover that could easily roll behind the top cushion when not in use. When you’re done enjoying your seating for the day, simply roll the cover back down. No need to remove anything or carry covers back and forth!

I had a prototype made and tested it myself. I was thrilled to see that my cushions stayed much drier—and when they did get wet, they dried significantly faster. Depending on your chair style, some cushions may still get slightly damp (especially with open-sided chairs), but closed-side designs work best for maximum protection. Another bonus? These covers help keep your cushions cleaner, and in case of a heavy storm, they make it easier to carry multiple cushions at once.

This product was born out of a personal need, and I truly hope it makes your outdoor life easier and more enjoyable—just like it has for me.
